Synopsis
The Multisensory Interactive Window is a system that allows experiencing distant places and communicating with distant people through a tangible installation that exploits the window metaphor and multisensory feedback. Thanks to the feeling of being just in front of a natural landscape or a room inhabited by a beloved person, we strive to enhance the older adult's well-being at home.
For this work on the "Tangible Interactive Window for Older Adults", Leonardo Angelini received October 14th, 2015 the award of the Angelo Dalle Molle fondation. Best demonstration award of the conference IHM'2016, Fribourg, Switzerland [3].
